Meet Angela White

The soul behind the stems

ANGELA WHITE

Founded by Angela White, Mira Mira Florals began with a love for old treasures - the kind with a little mystery and a story to tell.

What started as a passion for collecting vintage finds evolved into a curated space where nostalgia, creativity, and romance come together.

Mira Mira opened its first storefront in 2020 in Poughkeepsie, NY. The name was inspired by Angelaโ€™s love for mirrors and her frequent โ€œgoinโ€™ lookinโ€™โ€ trips to flea markets. Mira, meaning โ€œlookโ€ in Spanish, made the name feel both playful and perfectly personal.

Though antiques sparked the beginning, flowers quickly became the focus. With floral design experience dating back to 2013, Angela brings years of freelancing, hands on workshops, and a love of texture, color, and movement to every arrangement.

Today, Angela runs Mira Mira while raising her daughter Lila with her husband & their very loved dog.

The Story of the Floral Visionary

Mira Miraโ€™s Floral Philosophy

Handcrafted

Sustainability

Whimsical

One-Of-A-Kind

Freshness

Opulence

Mira Mira Florals isnโ€™t just about flowers, itโ€™s about transforming natureโ€™s raw beauty into something timeless.

Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Angela White brings each arrangement to life with a soul that feels both aged & untamed like a forgotten heirloom rediscovered.

Each arrangement tells a story, blending nostalgia, nature, & the unrefined elegance of imperfection through every carefully selected bloom. Each creation is a study in contrastsโ€”wild yet intentional, delicate yet bold, structured yet deeply organic.

With over a decade of experience, Angela has honed a craft that goes beyond aesthetics; itโ€™s a mindset of sustainability, a dedication to locally sourced blooms, & a deep connection to the essence of each flower.

Hand-dyed silks subtly enhance each bouquet, adding depth & a timeless sophistication that feels both classic & fresh. At Mira Mira Florals, every arrangement invites you to experience flowers not just as decor, but as an expression, a feeling, a timeless connection to something both deeply personal & universally enchanting.
